People’s Choice Tournament Brackets
Sweet 16 Bracket can be found here.
After the Round of 256, we took all 128 winners and put them in order according to their average score. We then used math to place everyone in appropriate divisions for their first round performance- the top 16 scorers have 1 seeds, the next 16 have 2 seeds, etc. In case you have no idea what a snake draft looks like, this is an example of a division:
1 (1 seed), 32 (2 seed), 33 (3 seed), 64 (4 seed), 65 (5 seed), 96 (6 seed), 97 (7 seed), 128 (8 seed)
We did it completely, completely equitably according to the People’s scores, without any adjustments or changes to allow for having nominators’ songs or the same artist in the same division. This seems like the fairest way to spread the songs. That said, once all the songs were in divisions, we mixed up the division orders (so Division A isn’t the division with the actual top song of the Round of 256.)
Alright- let’s have some fun and figure out who is going to win this thing. See you in the comments!
