LTDMT II: 1st Annual People’s Choice Music Tournament (Fall 2011)

The People’s Choice Tournament was our immediate follow-up to the original music tournament, and predicated on the idea that as hard as we tried to create an equitable list based on months of research, we wanted our voting population to give us their favorite songs to throw into the mix. When all was said and done, 90 independent voters from across the world gave us their favorites which we pitted against each other in a single elimination tournament. In the end, Queen’s live in Montreal version of “Somebody To Love” ousted Florence + The Machine’s “Dog Days Are Over” by a score of 441.5-415.5. The bronze went to “Little Lion Man” by Mumford + Sons.
