“Life is so brief, and time is a thief when you’re undecided”- for all its synth silliness, I kinda love the back story here. Only once did I run a solo road trip double elimination music tournament (do you know how hard it is to manage a double elimination tournament when you are scribbling on a notepad and driving through rural Alabama.) Young Turks was a Final Four contender; goofy maybe, but occupies a similar place in my heart as Toto’s “Africa.” The Shins song is good too, good match-up, but this one goes to Rod.
