Music Tournament Round of 256: Division F, Day 2 Results

Votes were especially low on the swing day of the holiday weekend, but these match-ups were pretty straightforward.

We are two wins away from Cash v. Cash, the first intra-artist showdown of the music tournament.  That means you can put good money down that Cash is the first artist with a guaranteed ride to the Round of 32.

#2 Hurt (Johnny Cash) def. #15 I Held Her In My Arms (Violent Femmes), 97-73.

#7 Where the Streets Have No Name (U2) def. #10 Voodoo Chile (Jimi Hendrix) , 83-75.

#3 Folsom Prison Blues (Johnny Cash) def. I’m A Believer (Monkees), 89-76.

#11 Jack and Diane (John Cougar Mellancamp) def.  #6 Alive (Pearl Jam), 89-66.  Pearl Jam has two songs left.

Violent Femmes are out of the tournament.  The Monkees are out of the tournament. So far 158 artists have been eliminated since the tournament officially began.
